To complete this project, you will need to know a little bit about chatbots and have functional knowledge of Python (although, if you’re more comfortable with another programming language, we highly encourage you to follow the same instructions to build a chatbot in your preferred programming language).

Chatbot Developer Careers

Chatbot developers are often considered a branch of careers in Software Development as it requires an extensive background in programming with specific task of developing, building and setting up chatbots correctly and on time. Leveraging skills we'll be covering in this series of natural language processing ("NLP"), programming, and machine learning.

The national average salary for a chatbot developer were around $120,000 per year (2023), which is similar to the national median salary for software developers.

Given the widespread adoption of chatbots and AI this career field is in demand across almost any industry you can think of where communicating efficiently with your customers is important.
